Room for improvement but it has kept me safe for several years when other people I know have lost their content. It does what it says it will do but is always trying to frighten you into buying more services, which is beneath them really. I have just renewed so that is the best recommendation I can give.
AVG is a great product without fuss offering you the opportunity to upgrade should you need further levels of protection. It also doesn't hog your resources "behind the scenes" which is a massive bugbear of other products
I have used free AVG for many years and it has been a good antivirus. I had been using McAfee and got a virus in my computer anyway, so I got AVG free and it has been great, but I thought I had gotten something in my computer last year and upgraded to have been safe so far with the full version.
since the late '9O's AVG, (the free version, I'm very poor!) has kept me safe from the worst of web nasties, it's always been reliable, fuss free and reassuringly in the background. I've recommended it to friends, family, clients etc and will continue to do so. Well done AVG! especially for ur 'free version' for those less able to afford another monthly outlay, very socially responsible! (I know u have other less worthy motives for the free option but it's still a very good thing). Yay the Czech Republic and AVG! Thanku

Modules don't work and auto renew is something to be very aware of or you will be paying for partially functional software forever.

Internet does not work because of the restricted avg firewall, so I have to switch it off.
I have to find some usefull settings to be save and can also surf the internet.
It is not possible to open gmail!

AVG is excellent software, massively marred by its 'usa' style of constantly pestering you with popups to buy shit from them, even though you're already a paid subscriber

you are mking n attempt to renew my subscription though I do not want to. You made five attempts, stop it and id not want to renew any of my subscription so do not make any attempt for future subscription as well. shame on you

AVG always makes me think of the word "average." The program seems pretty average to me.

AVG was good but this time they scammed me and took away $40 from my account by fraud. Bank informed me that AVG through scammers in Singapore reverse entered my PC and finding some bank details, took away $40. AVG replies that it is their policy and why should I object? Had to reformat and lose lot of time and material. AVG is now a scammer. May their folks burn in hell.

It has developed over the years I have used it and has kept me out of trouble on my PC. The Driver Updater is also good to keep my drivers up to date, especially after a Windows 11 update
